Research Positions in Microsoft Research Asia Theory Group
Position Title: Research Manager / Researcher / Associate Researcher in
Theory Group
Working Location: Beijing, P.R. China
The Theory Group of Microsoft Research Asia is seeking established or
promising stars of theorists in any aspects of computing. The preferred
research areas include but definitely NOT limited to: Numerical Computation,
Cryptography, Combinatorics, Geometry, Information Theory, Algorithms,
Signal Processing, Optimization/Operation Research, Statistics/Random
Process, etc.
Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or Physics,
or in theoretical computer, with a strong publication record in top journals
and conferences. Candidates need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills,
and be able to work independently in formulating practical problems and
solving challenging theoretical problems.

专家。我们希望理论专家的研究领域属于（但决不限于）以下方面：数值计算、密码、
组合数学、几何、信息论、算法、信号处理、优化/运筹学、统计/随机过程等。
应聘者最好能拥有数学、物理、或理论计算机的博士学位，并在顶级杂志或会议上有
出色的论文发表。应聘者应当有很好的人际协调能力，并具备能够独立地把实际问题
转化成理论问题和解决困难的理论问题的能力。
